The BKNAACP Education Committee will be hosting the 1st Speaker Series session for Educators Friday January 26, 2017. This months featured speaker will be Educator, Author, and co-Founder of Trill or Not Trill: MRJEFFDESS. In his usual captivating style of engaging his audiences, MRJEFFDESS' will introduce his platforms followed by a conversation centered around his approaches to education including:

• How he uses his platform to empower & educate our youth & college students
• Trill Or Not Trill
• His use of poetry & haikus to connect with youth
• The type of education he believes would be most impactful to our youth in today's society
• His thoughts on schools having black history programs which he has taught through creative initiatives etc.

This conversation MRJEFFDESS will be followed by Q & A & networking for all Educators in attendance. This months Speaker Series facilitators: Barry Cooper & Shani Perez-Anthony
