The Brooklyn NAACP Education Committee is partnering with The Sankofa Global Project for the “Build Your Own Wakanda” Hack-A-Thon! The event will be held on Wednesday, July 17 and Thursday, July 18, 10:00am - 6:00pm at The Collab Fabrication Lab & Innovation Studio, 309 Starr Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY 11237

The “Build Your Own Wakanda” Hack-A-Thon gives students of Central Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation’s (CBEDC) School’s Out New York City (SONYC) program and other participants the tools and space to come together as one community to design, build, and demo features and/or products for “Now Town,” a micro-startup timescale idea creation. This amazing event is also in partnership with the Collab Fabrication Lab, Innovation Studio, CBEDC, and volunteer efforts of industry experts. Click here to attend and/or volunteer!
