Young Adults Committee Meeting

The purpose of the Young Adults Committee (YAC BK) is to implement programs and initiatives to educate, stimulate, and mobilize young adults in the fight for social justice in Brooklyn. Join the work to advance the economic, educational, social, and political status of African Americans and other people of color by informing young adults of the problems affecting our community and our country. The committee hosts educational and interactive forums, community service projects, and social events. The goal is to actively recruit young adults to the Brooklyn Branch of the NAACP in hopes to develop future leaders and activists in our community and within the NAACP.

The Young Adults Committee (YAC BK) usually meets every second Thursday at 6:30 p.m. It’s been moved this month due to the NAACP National Convention. Register to attend by sending an email. Become a member! Email young-adults@brooklynnaacp.org
