The Brooklyn NAACP Education Committee Presents:  The “Take Action” Series.

Join us for a three-part series as we learn how to "TAKE ACTION" and advocate for the needs of Brooklyn students and their families.

  • Part I: Parental/Familial engagement and involvement in our children's education | Th Mar 24th at 6pm

Panelists for the series include: Naila Rosario, Government Relations & Advocacy Manager of Brooklyn Public Library, NeQuan McLean, President of Community Education Council 16/Bed-Stuy, Tesa Wilson,  Brooklyn Parent & Community Liaison of United Federation of Teacher (UFT), Educational Rights Transparency Coalition and other guest speakers.

Each event will include a panel discussion, community Q&A, and an actionable/advocacy step - such as showing support for the Ed Rights Transparency for NY Families Bill via social media.
