Brooklyn NAACP "Text Out The Count" Campaign

The Brooklyn NAACP invites all of our members, supporters and friends to join our efforts to make the 2020 Census count for all our communities. The Census helps New York State and your local communities to qualify for critical funding for education, Medicaid, children’s health insurance and other critical city services that impact your everyday quality of life.

Text Out The Count
After making sure you fill out the Census yourself, join us by participating in our citywide “Text Out The Count” campaign from Sunday, March 22 to Monday March 23. By signing up to use our peer-to-peer texting tool, Hustle, you will be able to reach hundreds of New Yorkers within minutes with a text that encourages them to fill out the census and provides the link to the Census Bureau’s self-response website. Anyone can fill out a Census form online at my2020census.gov or over the phone at 844-330-2020.

To participate in “Text Out The Count”, all you need is a phone, laptop or tablet. Sign up here and we can get you set up to “Text Out The Count” with the Brooklyn NAACP and NYC Census 2020!
